Getting Started.

Once you have figured out which plan is right for you, it’s time to get started! Here are my food and nutrition recommendations for each plan. Super Advanced Plan - This is the same plan that you followed on the 10-Day Detox!

  • Eliminate gluten, dairy, all flour-based products (including gluten free), sweeteners (all sugars, artificial sweeteners and “natural” sweeteners such as stevia and xylitol).
  • Avoid grains, starchy vegetables, beans, and fruit (other than ½ cup berries in your morning shake or breakfast).
  • Avoid inflammatory beverages (regular and decaf coffee, alcohol, soda and juice).
  • Include as many non starchy vegetables as you like and need to all meals and snacks.
  • Include 4-6 ounces of protein with each meal.
  • Have 1 serving of a healthy fat with each meal (such as 1/4 avocado, 1 T healthy oil such as extra virgin olive oil, walnut oil, or sesame oil, or nut or seed butter such as cashew or almond).

Advanced Plan - This is similar to the Super Advanced Plan but you can now add back beans and legumes.

  • Eliminate gluten, dairy, all flour-based products (including gluten free), sweeteners (all sugars, artificial sweeteners and “natural” sweeteners such as stevia and xylitol).
  • Avoid grains, starchy vegetables, and fruit (other than ½ cup berries in your morning shake or breakfast).
  • Avoid inflammatory beverages (regular and decaf coffee, alcohol, soda and juice).
  • Include as many non starchy vegetables as you like and need to all meals and snacks.
  • Include 4-6 ounces of protein with each meal. You can include ½ cup beans and legumes now. The best way to eat beans is by pairing them with a high biological value protein such as fish or chicken. For example, enjoy 3 ounces of broiled wild salmon served over 1/3 cup lentils. Serve that alongside a plate of lightly sautéed kale for a power lunch or quick dinner!
  • Have 1 serving of a healthy fat with each meal (such as 1/4 avocado, 1 T healthy oil such as extra virgin olive oil, walnut oil, or sesame oil, or nut or seed butter such as cashew or almond).

Basic Plan

  • Eliminate gluten, dairy, all flour-based products (including gluten free), sweeteners (all sugars, artificial sweeteners and “natural” sweeteners such as stevia and xylitol).
  • Avoid inflammatory beverages (regular and decaf coffee, alcohol, soda and juice).
  • Include as many non starchy vegetables as you like and need to all meals and snacks.
  • Include 4-6 ounces of protein with each meal.
  • Include gluten free grains in their whole-form: whole quinoa, black rice, buckwheat. Avoid processed grains! See below for portion sizes.
  • Include nutrient-dense starchy vegetables such as sweet potato. See below for portion sizes.
  • Include low glycemic fruit such as apples, pears, berries or pomegranate. See below for portion sizes.
  • Include a moderate amount beans and legumes. See below for portion sizes.
  • Have 1 serving of a healthy fat with each meal (such as 1/4 avocado, 1 T healthy oil such as extra virgin olive oil, walnut oil, or sesame oil, or nut or seed butter such as cashew or almond).

Basic Plan With Re-Introduction of Gluten and Dairy - After you complete the 6 weeks you have the option to reintegrate gluten and dairy very carefully.
