Chinese 5-Spice Powder

Five-Spice Powder isn’t really hot but is quite concentrated, so use it in small quantities.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tablespoons Star Anise ground
  • 2 Tablespoons Fennel Seeds ground
  • 2 Teaspoons Cassia crushed
  • 2 Teaspoons Szechuan Peppercorns crushed
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cloves ground
Preparation
  1. Combine ground star anise, ground fennel seeds, crushed cassia, crushed Szechuan peppercorns, and ground cloves.
