This program helped me realize that there are certain foods that I just cannot or should not eat. I am 58 years old and have battled with my weight all my life. I have been on multiple “diets” that are effective short term, but then I fall back into the same eating habits and gain it back. This program helped me realize that there are certain foods that I just cannot or should not eat. Maybe not forever, but most likely very infrequently. I needed to train my body and my mouth to enjoy whole, real food. Nothing processed and artificial. It takes planning ahead and preparation. But it is worth it to feel better. I am still wondering if I would benefit from thyroid hormone, even though my levels are low normal, just because I always have a high score on the thyroid quiz. Hopefully my primary care doctor will address that.
