I totally agree, the communal feeling to shopping for groceries, preparing food and eating together is key to bond as a family unit. Personally, I loved going to my grandmother’s home who had put such effort and time into preparing a delicious meal. I loved spending time with her in the kitchen, especially if she let me help her prepare. It made me feel significant and the food tasted even better because I knew I helped make it.
Besides that, I learned alot about choosing good quality vegetables, meats and fish, using spices to add taste and then to get creative myself and try it at home. Even today, I make the time at least 2 or 3 times per week, where I go shopping, prepare dishes and savour the mouth-watering tastes. I love experimenting even more and I love making the time to do so. When I do eat out, I see if I can make that dish even better myself. There’s so much fun to be had with making my own meals.
I agree! We could prevent so much in illness and medical bills by eating organic foods cooked at home. Cooked for us by our cooks or by our own hands is far heathier.
Its worth it to take the time. Or if you dont have the time – hire a cook from Clean & Organize LLC
thank you for your post,nice
