    So I found rice cakes with flax that are 8g of Carbs per slice so for a snack i take all natural apple butter with no added sugar and i spread that. I feel better but i want to feel awesome ha ha, not sure if I’m doing anything wrong, I drink water/green tea, eat nothing but broccoli, asparagus, salads, onions, I found tofu noodles so when my family eats pasta i eat that, I haven’t had dairy, no sugar, I eat 4oz of meat a day and snack on a apple in the morning cause they say its better and gives you more energy the coffee. I dunno if i am missing something, when i remember i take my vitamins fish oils and multi, i have to get more… any thoughts??

      • i got mine at wegmans, they are usually in the tofu section. They are in a plastic bag in water. they are actually very good, funny smell but goes away once you cook them :) House Foods Tofu, Shirataki, Spaghetti, is the name of the product

    • If you eat 4 oz meat daily, what proteins are you having for the other meals and your snacks? If you are on the blood sugar solution you should be having protein with each snack and meal.

      • I eat almonds as a snack, in the morning i eat 2 organic eggs with different veggies, for lunch usually a salad with chicken chopped up or tofu, the only snack i don’t have protein with is probably my apple in the morning, I was going to add almond butter with the apple but i haven’t found a almond butter without sugar..and dinner is usually a fish or tofu noodles and sauce… i got the ultra metabolism cookbook and adjust ingredients..

        • Sounds good :-) Are you on the Basic Plan? I get my almond butter at Costco, but it is a large jar. I may have to get that cookbook……

          • Ok good to know, Yeh i dunno what or if I’m doing anything wrong. Oh are we supposed to no use honey?? I saw it in a recipe so i wasn’t sure.. if so that would be awesome haha so probably not!! Im also looking into getting a paleo cookbook i hear thats good

    • Hi, Caitlin – Look in the health food stores. You can get almond butter that is just ground-up almonds. Organic, if you pay more. You have to stir it – but just once – then you put it in the fridge.
