first week done! BAM! this is what happened in my first week….(basic mostly)
    down 5 pounds…
    down 1 inch in belly
feel so much more even throughout the day…(this is maybe the best thing i’ve noticed)
    acid slowly improving
    cravings decreasing.
i won’t say it’s been an easy week…but i see it getting better…what i think is KEY…is being prepared like everyone says. cooking ahead of time, taking snacks with you. and i ate when i was hungry…

    • Way to go cwright! Congratulations on your first week of success. It will get easier as time goes by. As you said, preparation is one of the keys to success on this plan.

    • Wow, what a great first week you had! All of that results are fantastic and will definitely keep you motivated. You are right about the preparation. It takes a lot but I think it’s key to success. Way to go!

    • Yea, C! I knew you could do it. Now you know it too!

      • thanks everyone. i hope i get to the point where everything is second nature and i don’t miss certain food items! :)

        • For the first few weeks, I refused to think about those foods, avoided tv food commercials (none of which are about healthy foods!), and never watched my fav cooking shows. It made a difference. Try not to think about what you CAN’T have, but focus on all the foods you CAN have. There are so many great things out there. Your cravings and longings will go away, or at least get so suppressed that you won’t notice them as much!

    • Wow, CWRIGHT! Your first week sounds great to me! I am encouraged. I had fun today eating things I haven’t had in a long, long time! I had a red, a yellow, and an orange bell pepper in my salad. And later when I was full, I made a batch of hard boiled eggs and even peeled them all at once so I can have something INSTANTLY when I come in the door besides nuts and raw vegetables. I even ate an egg PLAIN and loved it! This was Day 5, Week 1 for me and my taste buds seem to have woke up.

    • Good for you! Sometimes the struggles just make us stronger. I’m happy your week turned out with such great results!
