    Can someone tell me what a typical day on the BSS diet plan would be, what do you eat in a day? I will be starting the basic plan, it seems like most of what I eat now is not allowed. I’m most interested in breakfasts, snacks and lunch ideas, thanks…

    • For breakfast, protein shake or eggs with vegetables or anything you has for lunch or dinner. Lunch can be salad or soup or vegetables with protein. The same for dinner. Concentrate on vegetables you like and add in new ones as you go along. You can roast a lot of vegetables at once and have them for several days.
      Snacks are almonds (or other nuts or seeds), celery or jicama sticks with hummus or almond butter. You could have some fruit with some protein, nuts or egg. If you like to cook, try some of the recipes in the BSS book or on this site.
      It is best to keep it simple at first and get a routine down.
      You will have to plan ahead for each day so that you are not tempted to go off the plan because you are short of time.
