    Thank you so much! We have been on the go here and I did not get a chance to check back yet. Theses are all great ideas.. I do not always have access to microwave to heat up food, This plan is going well for me. Today is end of week one :) My family is enjoying the food and everyone is eating better!

    • me too! hoping to hear from those who have done this longer. what i’ve done for work so far is taken portions of a meal i made and put in the freezer. the mexican chili is so so good, and it made quite a few containers for my freezer. yummy at work.

        I take salad (organic girl spring mix or 50/50 mix) and put what ever I made for supper on top cold and eat it. If I am somewhere that I can heat the left overs I do that but its just a good cold. Almonds and salad are yummy too and easy to pack in a zip lock.

    • Hi Lisa, I take leftovers from a previous meal to work.
      I saw a great idea online if you like salad. Start with a quart size large mouth jar. Put the dressing in the jar first. Then add solid vegetables in layers like radishes, celery, carrots, jicama, fennel etc.

      I make pots of vegetarian “chili” to divide up and freeze and make mackerel salad with chili-type spices( cumin, chili powder, garlic & onion powders, cayenne, pepper), jalapeno, cilantro, green onions, bell peppers, celery, and serve a portion over a bed of salad greens.
