    What about PGX. Dr. Hyman calls this his ”magic Supp.”. I use it 2x’s/ day and keeps my BS’s in a very normal range.

    Hi Victoria, if I was in your shoes I would take my medical records and food plan to another doc. If I was not seeing an endocrinologist I would start. Or find another MD, DO that will work with you and your meds. You have the right to take care of yourself any way you see fit. If this doc is unwilling to take you off meds go to one that will. I must admit I have been struggling with staying on the program the last few months I’m still not on any hypoglycemic meds.     I learned yesterday you can take tofu put in the food processor, blend till smooth. Can be used in place of mayo, which I know we don’t use. You could put vegs. or spices in it and make it more tasteful.

    New recipe. Protein Pancakes. 2 scoops of unsweetened, vanilla flavored protein powder. 200mls of egg whites. Mix together in your blender ( if the batter seems to thick for batter add a little more egg white to thin it out. Not to much though) Coat your pan with coconut oil pour batter for 1 pancake.     Hi Missy, I use a protein powder that is unsweetened. It is pea, hemp, and rice protein with chia seeds. It is vanilla flavored. You could add vanilla extract to your smoothie. See how that is. I found this protein very palatable. It’s made by LifeTime. Cheapest to order on amazon.com. This is the best one for me so far and I have tried many.

    • I have trouble with stress but have found other means of dealing with it other than eating things off plan. There are times where I end up eating early because I know if I don’t eat a healthy meal that I will turn to something that I really shouldn’t be eating a lot of like cashews or peanut butter .     Hi Alex, I told my doc what I was doing as far as BSS. I was on insulin too. He gave me parameters for how to lower my insulin as my bs”s came down. I was off insulin in 4 wks. after I started BSS. Everyone is different. I hope you continue to share your results. This is a great place to be.

    I discovered baby kale this week. Found it in my discount grocery store. It’s in a plastic box prewashed. I stir fried it with onion and garlic. So good. Raw it’s a little bitter. Cooked it was great.
