    Hi Shey,
    I am in Australia and already I have found our countries speak different languages when it comes to food. Still this isn’t a problem as where there is the will there is always a way.

    Thank you for your welcome. I think it great that you can get others in your significant circle to do the diet plan with you. What great support and encouragement. You could go shopping together and be a real team. I am on my own with this problem. Thankfully my husband doesn’t have a problem. So it’s onwards and ever upwards I guess.…[Read more]

And your family will support you. you are giving them a great gift if you cook healthy for them. they can eat your diet portion sizes will just be different for them. and hubby can go out and buy a hamburger and fries or what ever when he gets his cravings.     Thank you for your welcome. You appear to have made great progress on the diet so far. Have you found the new way of eating to be good in shedding weight? How have you handled no fruit or dairy? I wouold like to know what you eat instead of those two things.

    • hi Judy -i am shedding weight slowly. being on insulin, my weight loss is slower than for someone not on insulin but it is coming off. I still have the challenge of going too low with my blood sugar at times even with only 5 novolin 2x a day. This is generally when I eat some fruit. You are allowed frui even if you are on the advanced plan.…[Read more]

    Welcome to you. I can understand your concerns about staying the distance. There are many things to consider with the diet plans. All I know at this point is that it would be marvellous to reverse type 2 Diabetes. For this to occur I guess it needs commitment and motivation.     Hi Everyone,
    I am just starting out and am looking forward to the journey. Bought the ”book” and seriously want to reverse my blood glucose problem. Tomorrow I start to cut caffeine and sugar for a week before starting the Plan. It will be interesting for sure. I’ve joined the group for contact with like minded people.

Going thru your cupboards and tossing or giving away the stuff that won’t help you attain your goals is hard for some people but I think critical on your journey.       Going on week 3 I did what she told
      Me I cleaned everything I couldn’t have out of my cabinets and bought all new food… Gave my old food to a needy family
