Heading into week six (!) I’m rediscovering food sensitivities I’ve had before. I think it is because my body is now cleaned out of the junk for long enough to notice, and also some things I’ve been consuming more of. Like egg yolks (in fried or hard boiled eggs), raw red bell peppers (seem OK cooked), and garlic. I had a lot of ALCAT testing done (you can google it, it is blood tests that indicate foods that may be problematic for you) a few years ago and it showed egg yolks and red bell peppers as problems for me (makes my arthritis act up). Garlic can make me tired and foggy. Darn! These are some of my favorite foods. So now I’ll cut them out for a time and see how I feel.
