Diet & Nutrition 1 year, 2 months agoSurvived my first week of the Advanced Diet. The supplements help a lot … avoided many problems I had on South Beach Diet (SBD) phase one. Am excited my blood sugar is consistently in the 70′s now!! Am 90% compliant with the diet, still have a few holes to fill in on consistency and food selections. WOW Selah, that is great. Good for you! Giving up the flour and sugar ’cold turkey’ has been the best thing for me. I am not even tempted with bakery items and I have loved them my entire life.

What supplements are you using?
Oy! A lot! But most of them are only for a year. = )
Detox: NAC
Blood sugar: PGX fiber, chromium/cinnamon/selenium, alpha lipoic acid
General: multivitamin, calcium, biotin, Ubiquinol (CoQ10), vitamin D, magnesium
Allergies/inflammation: turmeric root, omega-3 and Provex CV (contains many of the antioxidants Dr. H. prescribes)
