Hypertension 1 year, 1 month ago Is anyone out there seeing good results with their hypertension while on this plan?












Absolutely, I do not have high blood pressure, but my blood pressure dropped 20 points within a week, I had to lower the dosage of a heart medication to accomodate the drop. I was down to 86/51. I am in good contact with my physician so we had a plan in hand if that happened. Be sure to keep your doctor up to speed with your changes.
Also, I had the same experience with almond butter, it tasted so sweet. i over did it with almond butter and celery. Now I have daily allotments of nuts and butters. I do eat an entire bunch of celery every week.

Thanks for the infor about the bp. I will take mine again, soon. I read that celery is good for the heart so I have been eating it more, and I probably do eat two bunches each week, what with the portions I have as a morning snack with 2 tsp almond butter (yes, I watch my portions), plus the amounts I add to my salads and such. 1 gram of fiber per stalk and only 10 calories, so it is all good!
I have lost 5 lbs. but my pressure is still high. I follow the diet and exercise but I haven’t seen much difference in pressure. It may be because I suffer from anxiety, but I was hoping this would help.
