Your post is, as usual, right on target for me. Came back from my long weekend away and only lost 1 pound. Ate everything right although I did not get the 2 snacks in for 4 days. Glad I did not gain a pound! Nicole…keep writing you provide such inspiration for me and others. Thank you, Rusty

Rusty- in my book the snacks are not mandatory – if you are no hungry between meals don’t have a snack…just make sure though that you are drinking enough water. You won’t lose weight if you are dehydrated. I eat one of my snacks before my evening pills usually some sort of protein so that the pills are not taken on an empty stomach. My other…[Read more]

Hi, I wanted to mention some good news, the farm bill is being written, in congress, and it looks like the organic food industry will be given the right to an advertising campaign. Hi Nicole, Thanks. I am hoping for another 10-15 pounds. I will not do that in 6 weeks, because I do not have all that inflammation induced weight I started with before. But I want to get there. 15-20 pounds a year is plenty for me with this heart condition. My blood pressure drops dramatically when I loose weight.

Do you have a Vitamix / if so anything you would eat you can mix in the vitamix and make soup of it that does not require chewing. If you have a food processor or mini grinder you can make anything into baby bood. You can also eat baby food …don’t stress there are all sorts of alternties for you tht will be able to keep you on program.

Margaret Foster replied 1 week, 4 days ago
Hi Beth, it will be ok. Like Nicole suggested, make a a puree of veggies with the Vitamix or blender. Add that to some hot broth and drink as a soup. You can add overcooked quinoa to the blender for more protein. Spinach, kale and most greens have protein as well. Also you could eat hummus.
