I have Rosacea and my face is always very red. I am currently on my 3rd protol of drugs trying to reduce the redness but nothing is really helping me. Is there certain foods I should eat or avoid that will help my Rosacea to not be so noticable?

Hi Shauna,
Thank you for sharing a bit about your Rosacea. How frustrating! But it doesn’t have to be. Actually some dietary detective work can help you. Have you considered food allergies or sensitivities or nutrient deficiencies that could be a contributing factor here? Often, the skin can be an indicator of how well our gut is working or how well we are eating or absorbing the nutrients from our food. As Dr. Hyman says, fish oil, turmeric, ginger, green tea, nuts, dark purple and red foods such as berries, green foods like dark green leafy vegetables, and eggs are excellent skinfoods.
