    i’m 6 days in and with all the elimination problems i’ve lost over 13 pounds. I know I have a lot to lose (75 pounds or so) butseems like a lot for 6 days.

    • That is incredible. Perhaps some of this release is causing the diarrhea. I wonder what else you are letting go of in your life. This is a very powerful program for some of us. many blessings to you, Margaret

    • Hi Catherine, I have not had that problem. I think if it goes on for another day you should take steps. Are you taking magnesium? I think magnesium too much or too little can cause elemenation problems. Also, possibly probiotics can help you with this. Is it possible you picked up a bug?

    • I haven’t had that problem. My husband (not on the plan), had a problem for a while that resolved by taking activated charcoal capsules (one or two). The doctors had no help for him & this resolved right away! Worth a try if it doesn’t stop. Just my 2 cents.

    Feeling pretty bad right now. I have a headache, I feel weak and cold. No cravings just want to go to bed. Wondering if I need a few more calories

    • Catherine, I had a spell similar to yours today. I laid down, warmed up and dozed off. After 20 minutes I woke up and my body told me I needed a protein shake. I always have things here for that so I made a quick one with almond milk, berries and lots of Hemp protein. I felt better at once and went out to do my errands.     Although it’s not a soda I keep a pitcher of water with lemon or lime slices. I used to drink a lot of tea and may look for a decaf tea that tastes good iced

    • I sure hope you feel better. Get out and go for a short walk or drink a glass of tea. It should help!! :o )

  • Cravings were really bad last night, but made it through. Hopefully today will be easier. Scale is still dropping though. 6.2 pounds in 3 days. I guess that’s a testimony to how badly I was eating before!

    • Need to lose over 100#. I was one of the Beta testers for BSS. I lost 14# and was able to get off my blood pressure medicine during the test. I still have a long way to go and consistency over time has been a problem for me in the past. I look forward to the encouragement of this group!

  • Turns out the carbs cravings were bad tonight. I was so tempted to share dinner with my husband but made it through on plan (except for the unsweetened tea) How’s everybody else doing?

I carry with me my own little travel squirt bottle of olive oil and plain balsamic vinegar.     I had a little bit of unsweetened tea in the afternoon when I could feel a headache starting. I thought I’d try to use as little as I could but I get migraines and it’s just too hard to work if I let it get out of control. Don’t feel quite as good today.

  • Made it through 2 days! Not feeling quite as good today, a little congested and tired. And definitely haven’t beat the cravings yet. I am down 4.8 pounds though.

    I agree. Felt like I spent the day fixing food yesterday. Toasted nuts and seeds for snacks and tried to make a couple of soups to have something available for when I get home too late to feel like cooking. When I get home late from a meeting I can just hear my skinny, fast food eating husband saying ”skip it, this one time won’t matter”.

    I too, like you, know that I would feel so much better if I did the right thing.   • Headache already! I’m sure that’s caffeine withdrawal.

      Hang in there. This can be a tough one. The headache can last different times for different people. The good news is once you have done this you never have to go through the withdraw again.(as long as you stay off) Were you drinking coffee or tea? Keep us posted. Margaret

    • Welcome Catherine! Yes change is hard sometimes. I find that it helps to take a program like this one day at a time – small steps. It also helps me to dig-out the psychological elements that are holding me back. Journaling is a wonderful tool for that.
