Leslie in Dallas posted an update in the group
Diabesity / Diabetes 11 months, 2 weeks ago I am just getting started. I have been diabetic still 2006 and I hope to get off shots. I haven’t finished the book yet. But my greatest fear is failure. I can’t continue to damage my body with yo-yo plans or me not sticking with it. I really hope this works for me.

You’re in the right place and on the perfect plan for reversing your diabetes. I had been on diabetes medication for the past 15 years and the Blood Sugar Advanced Plan has reversed my diabetes, as well as high blood pressure. My cholesterol is also close to normal now and my level of inflammation level has been improving. If you work the plan, it really works. Welcome Aboard Leslie!
Welcome Leslie. I lived in Dallas for 5 years way back in the 80’s …. I got moved around a lot but I really enjoyed my time there. Worked right off Abrams and Larmanda. Back to the important stuff. As Susan says, you’re in the right place. I was also diagnosed with DM in 2006. Just in the last couple of years have I let it get completely out of control. Something of a spree that hopefully has run it’s course. When starting this program my A1c had crept up to 6.7 and after the first 6 wks I’m at 6.2 and hoping to rejoin the 5% club within the next 3 mos. You’re smart to focus on stopping the damage DM does to our bodies. Everytime our blood glucose goes above a certain level (most say 140) the onslaught begins. It’s nice to see how easy it is to stop it in it’s tracks and to keep control of it by using healthy foods and of course exercise. Good luck and hang in there because this really works. I think you will find that this is a very easy program to stick with. The key is planning and preparing. Get your organizing skills out and put them to good use. Best, Barb Wk7 Dy5
