I have a question about caffeine and beverages. I know we are supposed to avoid all caffeine. I also thought I read in the book that green tea is ok. Is that correct? Also, is decaf coffee ok or not? The book only discusses giving up coffee and does not mention decaf. Any guidance most appreciated!












I would say that after the six week plan green tea is possibly fine. Perhaps the small amount of caffeine in green or white tea is not a problem. Caffeine is addictive and it would be good to go without for a while. I have not seen information posted on this site about decaf, but there have been quite a few questions. I wonder if the decaf process deposits contaminates in the coffee?
