Stress 2 months, 2 weeks agoStress is a dangerous situation for me. I eat my anxiety, anger and when I’m so tired I don’t care what I eat. I’ve been struggling the past few days with all. I have trouble with stress but have found other means of dealing with it other than eating things off plan. There are times where I end up eating early because I know if I don’t eat a healthy meal that I will turn to something that I really shouldn’t be eating a lot of like cashews or peanut butter . Hi Elaine, It is fantastic you found your way back to the plan. The increased physical pain will probably get you right back on track.
As far as stress, it is best to recognize when or what triggers the stress. Can you change your thinking on the matter or can you avoid the person or situation. Often stress is about us wanting things a certain…[Read more] -

Thank you Nicole and Margaret for sharing your wisdom. I am actively working on a new method of dealing with my stress. I don’t quite have it all down pat yet. I know with lots of practice it will come automatically. Patience and time will get me where I want to be.

Hi Elaine – I recently starting meditation and I am loving it. I tried it just sitting quietly on my own and I couldn’t do it. My mind was wandering all over the place! haha So I bought a CD by Dr. Andrew Weil and he guides you through several different meditations.
