    Hi Everyone. I’m new here. My book arrived in the mail today! Very exciting! I have a LONG way to go and I am looking to meet some new friends.
    I have not had much success on WW, Jenny Craig, liquid diets, Overeaters Anonymous, Dr Furhman, and countless others. I really need this to work for me. With God and your help, I am hopeful!

    • I’ve tried several of those and a couple of other ones and this is the only thing to give me such success in such a short amount of time. You can be hopeful and have confidence in this program. I am in my 6th week including the 2 week prep when I was cutting out things. I can see myself sustaining this and being successful in the long run. You can too! Enjoy the book.     • Welcome! I have also tried many of those programs you listed. I would venture a guess that many of us here have tried those as well. I am finishing my 6 weeks tomorrow and have had great results from this program. I was scared to try one more thing, but this was the one that worked. I will follow this way of eating for the rest of my life. Not because I have to, but because I want to. I have never felt better! I wish the same for you. Good luck.

    • Hello Mary Claire ! I too am new to the program. I have read the book, highlighted, tabed the pages and reread many sections. I’ve done the prep week, gone shopping, and am enjoying esting the good real foods. I have been on the Basic plan for a week and have already lost 7 punds ! I too have tried just about every diet out there ! This on speaks to me though, and makes sense about the food feeding our genes. There is so much BAD FOOD out there now, all the preservatives, boxed food, and Frankenfoods ! It’s kind of nice to just eat real food now ! I’m glad you joined and are reading the book ! Hang tough with it, You will like it ! Vicki

    • Hi MaryClaire – Glad you are here. Yes, we’ve probably all tried one or more of the plans you listed. This journey is so different and amazing. It’s a lot of work but well worth the effort. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Barb Wk8 Dy6

      Your search is over. The BSS is the only eating plan you will ever WANT to follow from here on out. It works. Everyone is spot on with what they have told you. Welcome to the ”club” of health-seekers. You are going to be so glad you found your way here. So far, I have lost 40 pounds so far in 11 weeks (3wks) prep and plan (8wks).

    • This will be a life changing journey for you. Be sure to take your beginning measurements, you will be able to see very quickly how far you have come by comparing these on a weekly or monthly basis. I didn’t take mine at the start, frankly because I didn’t really expect to see much of a change, as was normal for me. Now I wish I had. Take it one day at a time, but it won’t take long for you to FEEL a difference before you see one. That is how it was for me anyway. Keep us all posted on how you are doing. Good Luck
