    • Quinoa’s a great option. And I never thought to prepare it in my rice cooker – duh! Thanks Mechelle.

    • My understanding is Quinoa is not allowed on the advanced plan. Not any grains or beans, legumes, except tofu, which is from soy beans. Would be great after the first 6 weeks maybe.

    • Hi Mechelle,
      I to have hypoglycemic problems. Raw carrots (cooked carrots, no problem) and beans (except garbanzos) really put me on low blood sugar alarm.
      I have used PGX capsules and they really help me to avoid low blood sugar episodes.
      Also be sure to leave the house with water and snack food like almonds or kale chips.
