I am glad that there are other people who feel the same way. I have given up on medication, period. It does not seem to help me with my symptoms. I just want to reclaim my life!

Meg, I don’t have an answer for you, but I totally relate. I feel like I have been hiding out for so long. Because of my weight and because I’ve felt like crap for so many years. I hope that this new burst of energy from eating right and taking care of my body will help. At some point, if I’m willing to make these drastic changes in my diet…[Read more]

You feel the way you want to feel. You don’t let other people tell you how to feel. Don’t let their opinions of you influence YOU. They don’t know YOU. They judge you based on conditioning/brain-washing they are not even aware of.

You cannot scrape yourself off the floor…without help. I will pray for you. I am hoping this program will free me of depression since it affects my life so much and for so long, even with medication. It would be much worse without medication, I am sure, but I still want it to be much less than it is. You are not alone, Meg. Remember that.

I too suffer from the lack of motivation brought on by depression. Perhaps we can work together to help motivate each other! Want to give it a try??

Meg, thanks for being my motivation! Have you begun the program? I am planning to begin around the end of the month. I still need to get all my tests done. I really believe that it has been my eating that has created many of my issues: depression, fatigue, weight gain, constipation, hives and the list goes on and on!
Talk to you soon!!

I too am willing to be a motivation partner. What comes around, goes around. We hold each other up, encourage each other, and ultimately engage in healthier forms of dealing with our depression. There is always safety in numbers, especially where prayer is concerned.
