I make a fresh pot every morning, but was relying on more regular tea throughout the day. On weekends, I would nurse the pot of tea or iced tea all day! I’ve switched to water and have noticed a huge improvement. I haven’t tried Twinings Jasmine Green tea. I think I’ll look for it! Thank you! <3

I now see how much food affects my digestive system. Pasta plus sauce = bloat.

Well Peggy, it sounds like you may want to cut grains out of your diet for a while and see what happens. If you do not want to give up pasta, you can try pasta made in Italy. American made pasta bothers me, but Italian pasta does not. I think it is the wheat used. In this country the wheat is altered and not the same sort that was available. In…[Read more]

Hi Peggy, It sure is amazing how our bodies let us know what will benefit us or set us back. Once we have ‘cleaned our system out’ the messages come loud and clear. How many of us got sick the first time we had a drink of alcohol or smoked a cigarette?

Coffee is hard to give up. As a former coffee SNOB, I understand your pain. Learning I had to give up coffee was almost a deal breaker. Then, I thought, I can do anything for 6 weeks. White tea has the least caffeine, or 1/2 that of green tea, which has 1/2 the caffeine of black tea, which has 1/2 the caffeine of coffee. Drinking black tea will only delay your withdrawal difficulties.

I make a smoothie in the morning … when I have time. Otherwise, I bring a banana to work where I have almond nutbutter and soy milk. I haven’t tried making it the night before. I am not a morning person. I feel so much better when I start my day with a smoothie.
