Hi everyone. I am a foodoholic. I have been on every diet plan (almost) out there. Lost some weight & gained it back. I am a YO-YO dieter. This has got to STOP. I am 54 yrs old and almost tired of trying. I need HELP!

    • Your distress stops here then. Follow the BSS and you will see and feel results within days. I have lost 30lb since the middle of March and I feel better than I have in years. I no longer have painful knees, that pain disappeared in 1.5 wks time. Get ready because you will be changed by this lifestyle change, it is not a diet, it is a new way to live and to think about food. I am 54 and I feel better than I have in probably 10 yrs. I didn’t realize how bad I felt until these changes took place. It isn’t a quick fix it takes time but I believe that makes the changes more permanent. You will get great information and great moral support here, be sure to ask any questions you have and there are any number of people here happy to offer advice and give you encouargement along the way. Good to have you here and I wish you the very best in your journey to wellness.

    • Welcome Lillian!

    • Hi, Lillian,
Polly said it all so beautifully. This is the last stop in your search for the right way to eat and live. Like Barbara said above, you will be able to live a ”cravings-free” life and Polly was so right when she said the pain (arthritis) ceases. I used to hurt from the shoulders down and needed an hour or more to be able to move in the mornings. I drink my green tea then head out the door for a workout. I have lost 58 pounds in 18 weeks as of last Sunday. I joined a gym, yesterday, and went for my first official workout this a.m. 55 minutes later I felt great, and it was wonderful to be a part of the ”normal” world, instead of feeling ashamed and not wanting to workout in the company of others.
This is the very, very best eating plan and once you start, it gets easier and easier and your new ”normal” will be eating and living healthy. Glad you are here and I look forward to hearing all about your upcoming successes.

    • By the way, after you have followed this program for a while, you will return to a state of ”normalcy” and not think about food or want to eat all the time. These days, I have to remember to eat my mid-meal snacks. I am never hungry, at least not the constant, ongoing, never-ending hungry I used to feel. In the evenings, I eat my dinner, brush and floss, and never go into the kitchen again unless it’s for another glass of water.
Prepare to be a new ”you” following this plan.
