After years of being obese per the BMI, sometime in the last two weeks, I fell into the Overweight category.

That sonds like real progress. Following the BSS? How long?

      • Well, I haven’t really ”started” yet — I was waiting for some friends, but it’s been almost 4 weeks — and I lost 10 the first two, and two pounds per week the other two. I’m 183.6 right now, and my BMI target is 166. It actually seems possible now, and it’s never seemed possible before. Heck, two years ago I was 225. Atkins lost me most of that until I plateaued (due to fake sugars — don’t do ANY artificial sweeteners!!)

The best part is I can still eat!!

          • The best part is that I’m not starving all the time like I used to be.

              So true!

            • I just noticed that the other day after 2 mo on this new way to eat. All at once I thought, wow I’m not hungry, when I eat a meal I am actually satisfied and I don’t want to eat again 20 min later. I have never felt like that before, it kind of seems odd, not complaining, I’m just sayin………

              • That’s the way we’re SUPPOSED to feel. So we can eat when we’re hungry, not when our bodies demand the next ”sugar fix”

    • That is soooo cool! I remember how stoked I was when this happened to me! CONGRATS!!
