Weight & Obesity 12 months ago After my last post about not sticking to the plan as well during week 2 and even less so in week 3, I am going to start over. Today starts week one again, which means my last day of week six will be Friday, July 6, one day before my 60K bike race that I am training for.
I just wanted to get this on the record so I will stick with it. Off to make some eggs!

Nicole, Thanks for getting honest with yourself and us! You deserve your best effort! And training for a 60 K bike race sound amazing! Reminds me to get my bike out of the shed and at least walk it around the neighborhood a little!
Do it! There is nothing better than feeling the wind on your face when you ride a bike! Actually, there is…feeling the wind on your face while riding a bike around twilight after knowing that you just ate a delicious, nourish dinner to fuel your body with healthy foods!
That is the way to be, just start over, don’t let a little slip up defeat all you have accomplished so far. You can always begin again, that is the beauty of this program. It will always be here to start you on the right path. Tim McGraw has a new song out that should be our anthem ”I ain’t as good as I’m gonna get, but I’m better than I used to be” that being said we will take our victories where we can find them. Starting over, in and of itself is a victory.
Good words! ”Starting over, in and of itself, is a victory.” I am going to write that down. Thank you for your support and encouragement. This community is so great!
That’s the spirit! Way to go Nicole. Every day we have the choice of which way to go. It’s never too late to start over. I’m proud of you and that bike race training is impressive. You go girl!!!
Thank you, Susan! After getting over the initial, ”I guess I’ll just start over” attitude and really committing, I feel great about my decision. I’ll keep you all posted about my race! That is the part that I think I am the most excited for…my whole life will be so different in 6 weeks both from the accomplishment of the biking and training, but also from the training of eating healthy foods and nourishing my body and breaking bad habits for life.
