Diabesity / Diabetes 11 months agoHI! I’m new to BSS and this group. I am reading the book and have gotten to the preparation stage. I am obese and diabetic. I have had diabetes for about 4 years. I am also a cancer survivor, and have high blood pressure. I am excited about this program and anxious to see the results at the end of the six weeks.

I too have lost weight and kept it off, there are many other improvements for me like crippling arthritis disappearing quickly,…[Read more]
Hi M – Thanx for a reply you gave me a few weeks back — I am now on WK4D2 and doing terrific – am interested in how quickly your arthritis lifted and did it lift pretty much in total ? I have high hopes already for arthritic type back pain to improve along with sessions of gout 3-4 times a year – I think that will now be history
THe weight…[Read more]
Hi Cal, For me the arthritis pain (O & R) was mostly gone within two weeks. Most of my days are entirely pain free, even after sitting for hours! I had pain that was crippling some days, I did use a cane for a while. I did have pain return after six weeks on the plan and reintroducing (asiago, cows milk) cheese. I, of course stopped eating the…[Read more]
Rachel, I can’t say enough good things about how the program has helped me and I am sure you will be very encouraged as you begin this new way of eating and lifestyle changes. For me, 3 months into the program, while I saw remarkable progress in 6 weeks, I had to admit this is going to include a lot of permanent changes to create the good health…[Read more]
