Supplements 10 months, 1 week ago I had my gall bladder removed a couple of years ago and have had constant digestive issues ever since. I’m wondering if there are any supplements or vitamins or such that I shouldn’t be using because of this?
Also, I find when I take the Omega-3 capsules, I belch up that taste for the rest of the day. Its awful. Is there another way to get the Omegas needed?

Hi, you could try another brand of capsule. Trader Joe’s has some. ’Complete EFA’ or ’OMEGA-3 Fatty Acids’ might be a help.
You could go to your local health food store and inquire, as well. Margaret
My wife and I like the CorOmega 3 packets. (Chocolate orange flavored) It used to be just good, Now it’s VERY good. You cannot taste the fishiness at all.
Thank you!
Hi Susan, I take a liquid that doesn’t taste too bad – I get it from my Chiropractor – Innate Choice – The World’s Premier EPA/DHA Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement. It is mercury free and 100% Natural Lemon Flavor. I cannot take the fish oil capsules, and found this works pretty well. I usually chase it with my morning smoothie, and have not had any problems with coming back up…good luck…BJ
Thank you, I will look into it! So far two days of taking my capsules with the smoothies seems to help.
http://www.healthyforlifeusa.com/ They have omega 3’s that don’t come from fish oil. They work well but be warned if you buy the liquid because its cheaper it is nasty!! I take it because I paid for it but next time I’m buying the pills!!
Thanks! I’ll check it out!
I buy a fish oil at whole foods that has peppermint in it so no aftertaste. It is called fishsmart
