One of my faves right now is cuke slices topped with a simple lemon juice/o oil/garlic/oregano dressing. Find/make some good sauces/dips, and the possibilities w/ veggies are endless. Olives, marinated mushrooms, and other antipasto items are always goos for me.

Great Shelley….you will love it. I just got rid of my 30 year old one and bought a Vitamix. I have just started my 7th week and so far I have lost 14 pounds and really love what I am eating. Love this blog and the people are wonderful. Looking forward to hearing your travels through the BSS Plan. Rusty

It is driving me nuts because today was my day to do aerobic dance and Pilates. I will just have to do some light walking until I can get back into my classes, and as Nicole advised, eat fewer carbs since I won’t be working them off. Thanks! Lisa

Congratulations, Shupac, 5.4 is awesome! So many on this site would be thrilled to have that A1C, me included. I wonder why you even started the BSS plan with such a great A1C. Were you diagnosed as diabetic at some point?
Hope your dr is able to figure out the liver issue. -

Great Shupac! Vimala has and interesting question…were you diagnosed as a diabetic at some point? I am finding, reading this blog and talking to others, that physicians have very different criteria for diagnosing diabetes. It also confuses the whole process even more than it is… Rusty
