    I bought myself a lunch bag that came with a little ice pack. I put it in the freezer overnight and then in the morning when I pack my lunch, I pull out the ice pack and slip it in. Keeps my lunch cold until lunch time. Bought it on Amazon.

    There is a section in the back of the book that gives you a shopping list. No peanut butter…..almond butter.

    I did in the beginning couple weeks. I assumed that was a part of the detoxing. I’m on week 8 and it’s all good now!

    In week 8 day 4 and so far I’ve lost 18lbs! A little tired the last two weeks. Not sure if it’s just work or I’m not getting enough of something.

    • Hi Christine, I am in week 12 and have noticed the same thing once in a while. I ate more protein (red meat) and the tiredness subsided. I usually eat a couple ounces of chicken or seafood a day. So 4-6 ounces of red meat is a lot for me.
      Loosing 18# is enough to keep you going with this plan. Good work. Margaret

    Once you stop eating those foods and stick to lean meat, fish and veggies, you will feel so good and have so much energy, that you won’t want to eat those foods again! You can do it!

    Starting week 4 tomorrow and lost 11 pounds so far! Tried the silken tofu smoothies recipe in the book and it wasn’t bad at all. Added PGX powder to it. Definitely liked the consistency better than the protein rice powder I bought.

    If I’m going to be away from the house for a long time, I pack my little lunch bag with one of those mini ice packs in it …usually have a shake ready or celery with almond butter. I found individual packets of almond butter at my store. Baggie of carrots or a protein bar. I keep it in the car ready for when I need a snack. Hope this helps!

    It may be because your body is getting rid of the toxins. Which is a good thing! It should go away in a couple of days.

    That’s funny….I’ve also had dreams of cakes. I sat at a table where there were two sheet cakes and my friend said, ”that one’s for you”! I was relieved when I woke up and realized I didn’t cheat at all!

    You can find portion sizes under the ”My Downloads” tab in the dark blue at the top of the page.

    • thank you that is what I was looking for. any thoughts on getting recipes from somewhere or know if the book on here is good for this specific purpose? I need to be prepared or I will fail at this becuase I know it is going to be hard

There are recipes on the internet under Paleo diet that will work. Also you can take your favorite recipes and alter them so that they fit into this program.. Use lettuce leaves…[Read more]
