Saw my doc today and he was pleased with how I am doing on the BSS. After just a few weeks, my hemoglobin A1C is 5.9. We already cut out one oral med and he just cut the Glucophage by 75% with the hopes that I can drop that over some time. I’m off Pantolac, one of those stomach acid proton pump meds and doing well with that. We had reduced a beta blocker I am on by half earlier and it’s going down another half with the intention of getting off it. The other blood pressure med has been reduced. I’ve lost 23 pounds.

I feel better than I have in years. I’m working out 5 times a week either biking or swimming and am lifting weights 2- 3 times a week along with a stretching program.

I’m excited and happy with these results and know there is more to come. I’m learning all kinds of stuff about my self and making super healthy choices that support my life. It sure has not been without some pain nad challenges but, hey….that’s what life is about.

I keep coming back to thinking that it’s not about weight and calories and carbs. It’s really about daily choices for health…sometimes minute by minute choices of all kinds that are all interconnected.

    • Great results! How long have you been on program? Basic or Advanced? I am on Advanced but still in the two weeks leading up to the program. I am doing everything already except I haven’t cut out coffee completely. I am excited and happy to be on this. All the best, Lisa
