Fatigue 12 months agoDoes anyone else out there have adrenal fatigue? I haven’t officially started the program yet. I’m almost done with the book and am trying get myself organized enough to get off to a good start. I’ve read a lot about adrenal fatigue and the need for protein just wondering if anyone has had good results with this program.

Hi Tracy, I had depleted adrenal glands 40 years ago. I did get some shots (I do not know what kind) but I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia after a 6 hour glucose test. The interesting part was I found an obscure book in a health food store that prescribed a protein and low carb diet similar to this one. It really helped me get back on my feet. I…[Read more]

I don’t know anything about the brand of coconut milk you mentioned, but if it is sweetened in any way, it isn’t allowed. I use the unsweetened almond milk that has only 40 calories per cup, so use that as a guide as to whether or not the one you like is ok. Egg white protein powder should be perfectly ok. Hi Tracy, I just tried a trader Joe’s brand of coconut milk like the one you described. It is working well for me. There is no sweetener in it as it is unflavored. I do prefer the canned milk for the consistency and flavor. The canned is more expensive, but I use less in the shakes and it works better in recipes.
