Hypothyroidism & Thyroid 8 months, 3 weeks agoI have been taking levothyroxine for at least 7 years. The first 5 years, only 12.5 mcg three times each week, because doctor said I had a sub-clinical hypothyroidism. During that time, I had been looking for pregnancy, but I had not succeeded. Hi Vanessa, I wish I had some words of wisdom for you. I would say if the MD you are seeing now isn’t working try another. I realize how difficult it is to change. Maybe someone else has a different idea. I know Dr. Hyman’s plan works. I don’t know if it will produce babies. But, I do know it helps balance hormones. I was off insulin in 4 wks.…[Read more]

I too have Hypothyroidism but my Dr. put me on Armour Thyroid and now it’s pretty well controlled. There for a while it was hard to get AT but it is now available again. My daughter too has thyroid problems and after killing her thyroyd gland with radiation she was put on Levothyroxine still could not get it regulated. Then switched…[Read more]
