Why should I try a 10-Day Detox?

Most people are addicted to foods that are making them sick. And how do you break free from addiction? You detox. By “detoxing” from the harmful foods and dietary patterns that lead to inflammation, fatigue, weight gain, and other health issues, you allow your body to heal and function at its best.

How much does it cost?

The 10-Day Detox program is for anyone over 18 to join. It’s an all-inclusive package that covers your detox plan, supplements, community access, live group coaching sessions, and exclusive materials for $497.

Is the 10-Day Detox really only 10 days?

The detox itself only lasts 10 days, but think of the 10-Day Detox program more like a 21-day commitment. It starts with a 7-day “Preparation Phase”—to ensure you’re fully ready for a successful detox—followed by the actual 10-day “Detox Phase.” (You don’t have to take a full 7 days to prepare, but we recommend it so that you’re able to set yourself up for success and slowly taper off of caffeine and alcohol instead of going “cold turkey.”)

Finally, you’ll complete the program with a 4-day “Post-Detox Phase, where you’ll learn how to reintroduce a wider variety of foods into your diet and discover a long-term eating approach that works best for you.

What’s Your Refund Policy?

If you register but are unable to do the 10-Day Detox, you can get a full refund before you start the actual 10-day “Detox Phase.” (You can either ship your supplements back to us, or keep them and be refunded the difference between the cost of the program and the retail value of the supplements, which is $215.49 for the Base Stack and $203.98 for the Vegan Stack.)

Once you start the actual 10-day “Detox Phase,” you’re no longer eligible for a refund.

Here’s why: The 10-Day Detox is a journey of self-experimentation. There are no guarantees. It’s about discovering how changing the foods you’re eating makes you feel.

For most people, this is a very positive experience. Many say it’s “life-changing.”

But, for a small number of folks, it may not lead to improved well-being, which suggests they may have underlying issues such as small-intestinal bacterial overgrowth, or SIBO. (With this condition, some foods that are considered very healthy may cause digestive discomfort.)

Learning this can be very valuable as it provides new insights on what could be causing their discomfort. They can then share this important new information with their healthcare provider as they pursue the next steps in their treatment and recovery.

So, even if the outcome isn’t what you hoped, it can help you better understand your body and provide direction for addressing your health concerns.

How will I access the 10-Day Detox program materials?

The program is hosted on an online platform that you can access via a web browser on your desktop or laptop computer, or through the Hyman Health Hub mobile app. (We’ll provide a link so you can download it when you register.)

What can I eat during the 10-Day Detox?

Generally speaking, you’ll eat a whole-foods diet rich in low-starch vegetables, high-quality sources of protein, and healthy fats.

You’ll eliminate sugar, high-starch foods, industrial fats, artificial ingredients, caffeine, and alcohol. But remember: The 10-Day Detox is only for 10 days, and it’s not a diet of deprivation. You can eat as much of the detox-approved foods as you desire. (They’ll automatically regulate your appetite.)

What can I expect from the 10-Day Detox?

On average, participants report a 60% reduction in the Medical Symptom score. This is a questionnaire you take at the beginning of the detox and once again after you’ve completed the program. Participants often experience significant improvements in energy, digestion, mood, focus, and overall well-being.

Specifically, many people find that their blood sugar improves, chronic bloating disappears, they don’t suffer from heartburn, blotchy and inflamed skin clears up, they sleep better, chronic joint pain diminishes, they no longer have constant cravings, and they lose stubborn fat.

Do I need to buy special supplements?

No. As part of the program, you’ll be provided supplements that are hand-picked by Dr. Hyman to optimize your detox.

How long will it take to get my supplements?

Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days. As with all shipments, delays are possible, but you’ll control when you start the actual 10-day “Detox Phase.” This ensures you’ll have your supplements before you begin.

Is there support available if I have questions during the detox?

Yes! That’s a very important part of the program.

What do you mean by “community”?

Think of the community like a social media feed but with only 10-Day Detox coaches and participants. You’ll be able to ask questions, share your experiences, and learn from others. You’re all on the same journey, and the entire community is there to support you.

What happens after 10 days?

Once you’ve completed the 10-day “Detox Phase,” you’ll transition to the 4-day “Reintroduction Phase.” Just as it sounds, this is when you’ll start re-introducing certain foods back into your diet. This can be enlightening as you’ll learn how to identify any food groups that are problematic for you and adjust your diet accordingly going forward. (You won’t re-introduce all foods during this 4-day phase, but you’ll get started, along with the instructions for how to continue this process on your own.)

Can I repeat the detox?

Your investment in the 10-Day Detox is for a single session, which is complete four days after you finish the 10-day “Detox Phase.”

What if I’m vegan?

The 10-Day Detox can be adapted to suit a vegan diet. The focus is on eliminating processed foods, sugars, and unhealthy fats while incorporating nutrient-dense, whole foods. You’ll receive guidance on how to tailor the program to meet your dietary preferences and ensure you get all the necessary nutrients.
