How Good is Your Gut-Brain-Fat Cell Communication?

by

Does your appetite control system work?  Take the following quiz to find out.

In the appropriate box, place a check for each positive answer. Then use the scoring key to identify which care plan you should use.

There are four basic parts that include:

  1. The wiring of your nervous system.
  2. Weight control hormones.
  3. Command central messengers.
  4. Molecules of inflammation.

These components work together to communicate among all the organs and tissues responsible for managing your weight and keeping you alive.  Create harmony among all the parts of your metabolism to control your appetite.

You should take this quiz before you start the program and once again after you have completed The UltraMetabolism Solution. In both cases, total your quiz score and record it in the scoring record. After you have completed the program, note the improvement you have made in the scoring record as well.

I have all along been trying to find information on causes of stomach inflamation and found this website of Dr. Hyman. After reading his messages on causes of diseases, I now understand why I have a stomach inflamation which doctors dont know the root cause because I have no H.pylori. I was dispressed for a long time after I had an ENS Surgery that left me suffering a lot.

Recently, I tried to reduce the stress but my weight had not been regained. I also have rectal bleeding but my doctor seem to have no answer for my problem.

Dr. Hyman, what can I do to gain my weight? I am a woman aged 44 yrs and I weigh 44 kgs only! I live in East Africa. When I take any diary product, my nose mucus increases and I get post nasal drip which gives me bad breath.

    Please help me doctor.
