Hormetic stressors are good stressors. These are actions that, in the right dose, have the power to lower inflammation, boost tissue repair and metabolism, and support our mitochondria. It’s like the saying goes: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Things like exercise and strength training, hot and cold therapies, light therapy, ozone, and others are all mild stressors that jump-start your body into repair and rejuvenation.
