Homemade Macadamia Butter 4-Ways

1 cup each Prep time: 5 min each

I love macadamia nuts and I wanted to use them in a different way, so I created a Macadamia Nut Butter with four different flavor variations you can choose from.

The Macadamia Butter Original Recipe is great on its own, but it also works as a base for a few fun add-ins. There’s Matcha Macadamia Butter with powerful green tea for an extra pick-me-up, Cacao & Coco Macadamia Butter for a chocolate fix, and Everything Macadamia Butter for a unique savory spin.

Try them on everything from chopped veggies and fruit to seed crackers, grain-free toast, or by the spoonful.

Macadamia nuts are rich in monounsaturated fats as well as antioxidant tocotrienols, a form of vitamin E that may help lower cholesterol levels and protect against cancer and brain diseases. They’re also a very rich source of manganese which is essential for connective tissue, bones, sex hormones, and blood sugar regulation.

Just a heads up, if making all four recipes, you’ll need to quadruple the ingredients of the Macadamia Butter Original Recipe and then divide it into four portions and add the extra ingredients.

Enjoy!

Wishing you health and happiness, Mark Hyman, MD
