Hyman Health’s digital and content platform – called Hyman Digital – is seeking a Growth Marketer to identify, develop, track and iterate on our health content business lines including customer engagement and growth management. Its mission is to leverage multimedia channels and formats to disseminate health and wellness knowledge worldwide. Premised in the paradigm of Functional Medicine, its vision is to enable individual health agency to effectuate both preventive wellness and curative solutions. Founded by 15 times NY Times bestseller, Founder, Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine and Co Founder of Function Health – Dr. Mark Hyman – Hyman Digital leverages social content, newsletters, podcasts, products, and other educational formats to educate subscribers on the latest in functional medicine, nutrition science, academia, wellness, biohacking and longevity. Its goal is to uplevel its content engine by providing evidence-based yet digestible content that unpacks systems biology, network medicine, prevention behaviors, nutritional recommendations, and chronic illness cures.

OUR NEEDS
Hyman Health is seeking a candidate to use data-driven tactics to identify product and content best practices, design and implement across our channels, and iteratively test and optimize to cultivate a user activation and customer engagement strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our expert health content team, including Founder Dr. Mark Hyman, MD, to create original content that transforms how people understand and take ownership of their health. The ideal candidate will be a combination of an excellent brand storyteller, product designer, and growth hacker.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES

Responsibilities for the Growth Marketer Content Creation & Marketing:
• Expert at brand positioning and storytelling, as it marries with memetic, trending, cultural relevance/zeitgeist narratives
• Deep understanding of best practices in social media activations, including an analytical approach to identifying trends and memetic moments as they can apply to our brand identity
• Understanding of, and ability to create, PR and influencer campaigns, especially stunt campaigns, influencer creator content and reaction content on our three priority social mediums: YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
• Proposing new creative initiatives to attract prospects and convert leads, as well as experimenting with new methods to capture current demand
• Supporting our paid media team to identify and generate campaigns to drive traffic to e-commerce site by running tests with paid search ads, paid social ads and organic search
• Design marketing strategies, content campaigns and other creative assets design to increase brand awareness and brand equity
• Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and messaging guidelines

Data-Driven Research:
• Priority channels include: YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and qualified applicant must be fluent in the back-end mechanics, algorithm optimization and current best practices for each of the three
• Identifying growth opportunities for the company based on Hyman Health’s long-term goals
• Designing and setting up experiments to test whether product and content interventions will positively the business
• Monitoring zeitgeist trends to identify new content channels, strategies, cross-promotional and crossinfluencer opportunities
• Test and optimize customer acquisition techniques (such as affiliate marketing, direct mail, out-of-home, and internet advertising) as well as conversion rate optimization.
• Analyzing marketing data and user feedback (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, and so on) to assist in the development of future marketing strategies
• Analyze, recommend, and oversee the execution of quality-improvement programs

Product Design:
• Analyze the entire funnel — the journey customers take from awareness and acquisition down to retention and referral — and implement tests to figure out what levers they need to pull to unlock business growth.
• A/B testing website, social channels and products, actively tweaking strategy, copy and design to see which variations converted visitors into customers at the most efficient rate.
• Connecting the dots between marketing effort and user experience
• Leveraging analytics dashboards and other measurement tools to inform decisions and growth strategies and identify issues that may be impeding growth

Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team, designers, and subject matter experts to develop content that resonates with our target audience
• Working together with other teams across teams to discuss ideas, receive input, and report results
• Sharing best practices with the team, presenting recommendations and supporting in product and content strategy

Qualifications for the Growth Marketer:
• 5+ years’ experience in Growth Marketing or Growth Content, either at a startup or in brand or agency setting
• Must be a digital native with deep understanding and familiarity with YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
• Enjoys the art of customer experience, product design and marketing, and the science of testing and looking at data
• Storytelling and strategic creative messaging skills are essential
• Ability to identify, capture and hone in on culturally-relevant moments as it relates to our messaging
• A portfolio of successful growth implementations and interventions
• Expertise in marketing, online strategies, user experience, and business development.
• Strong analytical skills, including A/B testing, web metrics, and sales metrics.
• Well-versed in conversion rate optimization, running paid search and social ad campaigns and SEO optimization and key algorithm updates
• Skilled at web optimization, sales generation, conversion analysis, and creating sales funnels
• Knowledge of various growth-hacking tools, such as automation and campaign monitoring platforms
• Ability to evaluate our current social profile and platforms and identify new areas to capture or develop to expand our brand presence and engagement
• Ability to demonstrate tools, techniques and strategies utilized in previous roles for growth optimization, focusing predominantly on social media
• Keep up with the latest trends and developments in UI/UX and digital marketing
• Optimally – domain expertise in UI/UX best practices – but not required

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted start-up environment to oversee multiple projects and occasionally wear multiple hats
• Health-minded. You value health and wellness and understand the power of food and lifestyle. Concerned about the broader health trends including preventive and solutions-based health matters — we need mission-aligned people

What we offer

• The role is fully remote. Successful candidates can work in any location within the US. Sponsorship available for non-Americans provided they live on North American time zones and speak and write in fluent English
• Base salary compensation package subject to relevant experience
• Discretionary bonus scheme subject to pre-defined performance milestones, measured by engagement analytics, to be jointly agreed with the candidate
