When I created the plan in my new book, The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet, I wanted it to work for everyone. I wanted it to jump-start people’s weight-loss and health goals, freeing them from addictions to toxic foods so they could move forward by being in control of their own wellness and vitality. I wanted it to be about abundance and joy, not deprivation or punishment.

In preparation for the February 25 release of The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet, we asked 30 more people to try the detox program and share their experiences. Some of them are bloggers, while others are readers of their blogs who signed on to be part of the journey.
I made them a promise: Just give me 10 days and your life will never be the same.
I provided the group with a copy of my book—which features a daily good-proof plan for better health, body and soul—along with the supplements that support the program. I created an online community where they could connect with others, and offered access to nutritional and life coaching. These are the same resources I recommend for everyone.

Janice Haley shared many personal thoughts about her experience at her blog, including some great tips on how to get started. Especially compelling is her reason for embarking on the journey after having watched loved ones die or suffer because of controllable lifestyle factors.

Editor Adam Swenson, along with readers Jennifer Schreiner and Nancie Carter, shared their daily experiences and results. Journaling about your experiences and emotions is a proven method for reducing stress, while supporting weight loss and behavior change. Elise made the most of it by sharing her thoughts and feelings with her readers.
