Brain-Boosting Superfood Yogurt Bowl - Dr. Mark Hyman

Brain-Boosting Superfood Yogurt Bowl

This incredibly easy and nutrient-dense meal will become your new favorite breakfast or lunch. It’s a simple combination of Greek yogurt with my delicious Farmacy Super Simple Grassfed Chocolate Protein, topped with powerful ingredients for brain health.

Protein intake has been associated with reduced risk of cognitive decline, optimal neurotransmitter levels, and regulated reward signaling, and this recipe has a lot of it. Walnuts are a top source of plant-based DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid linked with cognitive performance. Wild blueberries are an amazing superfood thanks to their anthocyanins, which improve vascular and cerebral blood flow to support healthy cognitive function. Pumpkin seeds are a rich source of zinc which may enhance memory, as well as B vitamins and tryptophan to support healthy levels of feel-good neurotransmitters like serotonin.

I hope you’ll try this recipe and feel the difference it makes in your day.

Wishing you health and happiness,
Mark Hyman, MD
