No-Bake Protein Bites

13 Prep time: 10 min Cook time: 0 min

If you’re looking for an alternative to the usual protein shake or bar, these are hard to beat. They come together in minutes, travel well, and have enough protein, healthy fats, and fiber to keep you feeling satisfied between meals. I like keeping a batch on hand for post-workout snacks, or anytime I need something quick in between meals.

No-Bake Protein Bites

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter)
  • ½ cup hulled hemp seeds
  • 5 tablespoons unflavored whey or plant-based protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

In a food processor, combine all the ingredients. Blend until the mixture comes together when pressed between your fingers. Roll into about thirteen golf ball-sized balls.

Step 2

Wellness trends are always changing, but one thing that hasn't changed is the importance of recovery. You can eat well, exercise, and do many of the right things for your health, but if your body isn't recovering properly, you eventually feel it.

That's one reason sauna use has remained part of my routine for years. Like exercise, heat exposure creates a small amount of stress that helps the body adapt and recover more efficiently over time.

Over the years, I've also learned that not all infrared saunas deliver the same experience. When it comes to infrared saunas, Sunlighten is the company I use and recommend. For more than 25 years, Sunlighten has focused on research, safety, and innovation instead of treating infrared sauna therapy like another passing wellness fad.

What separates Sunlighten is their patented PulseIQ™ technology. Instead of simply combining heat with blended infrared wavelengths, their mPulse sauna delivers red light along with near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths independently, allowing for a more targeted and personalized session based on your wellness goals.

During Sunlighten's 4th of July Sale, you can save up to $2,200 on your sauna purchase plus get free shipping. Use code HYMAN to learn more and take advantage of the offer.
